A lot more affordable than I expected, and the atmosphere was very clean and inviting. Lots of plants and natural light with two bars not only downstairs but one upstairs with lots of lighting at the one upstairs. They even have a bathroom upstairs that is unisex. Food came out very good and made the order and I was definitely impressed especially with a $24 bill with two rolls and a water During their busy time from 4 to 6 PM on a Friday night.

Blue Sushi is hands down one of our favorite spots in Kansas City and if you haven’t been during happy hour, you’re seriously missing out. The deals are great, and it’s the best way to try a variety of things without overthinking the bill. Honestly, everything here is amazing. We’re big fans of the itchy salmon and Yellowtail Serrano to start. We’ve worked our way through a bunch of rolls, but we always end up back with the Lion King. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Safe to say we’re addicted and not mad about it.

Brook was our server upstairs and she was super kind! She gave us recommendations on sushi that we should try and it was spot on. They had a great happy hour that actually was extended to 6:30 PM and with two sushi rolls and a tip I think I came out with $21.63 Which is an awesome buy power at power and light.

Got you—here’s a shorter, more natural version with a fun, slightly buzzed tone: ⸻ Blue Sushi always hits, but Mia and Raul took it to another level. Mia made us feel like VIPs the second we walked in, and Raul’s drinks? Dangerous in the best way. The rolls were gone in seconds, the vibes were immaculate, and I’m still thinking about that truffle salmon and spicy cucumber marg 11/10 experience. Will absolutely be back.

this location is spectacular! the service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. our waitress was kind, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. the food was amazing as well. everything had such a fresh, balanced flavor. you could really taste the quality. i would highly recommend this location over the KCK location. much better experience.

Sushi was fantastic. Service was friendly and efficient. Starters were all fabulous and we could have made a meal of just those. Mango Crab Rangoon was unexpectedly delicious. It was a little loud but that’s expected.

Came here for lunch and was blown away by how fresh everything was. The sushi was excellent quality, with vibrant flavor and perfect texture. Their happy hour prices make it easy to try a variety of rolls, and there are plenty of unique and creative options that go beyond the standard menu you’ll find at most sushi spots. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is upbeat without feeling rushed. A great place to enjoy top-quality sushi at a great value — I’ll definitely be back.
